The CompuMove Software

CompuMove Version 8 runs two possible ways: As a Cloud-delivered internet application for any browser or device, or as a Private-Server hosted application from your own in-house server. CompuMove itself is written using Microsoft Visual Studio, and uses Microsoft SQL Server.

Cloud CompuMove

Cloud CompuMove is a fully web-delivered application program, accessible from any device with an HTML-5 browser. Office users on Windows computers can also install an application icon for a full Windows-application experience, web-delivered.

The cloud CompuMove servers are privately hosted in the Dallas, TX area. CompuMove maintains multiple layers of redundant servers and  data backups, and multiple layers of security defenses, to ensure data remains intact and uptime is >99%.

Mobile (Untethered) Tablet Operations

SalesTools Pro in untethered mode requires a Windows-10 compatible tablet device, like a Surface Go or Surface Pro, or one of the many competitor Windows tablets. Driver Mode, or sales functions with a live internet connection, can run on any device as an HTML-5 session.

In-House Server & Software Setup

While Cloud computing is popular for some very good reasons, CompuMove Version 8 can still be installed on a standard Windows Server and Network. CompuMove will install the software on your existing Windows-based computers, leaving your server and network administration in-house. In that environment, remote access, security, and data backup are your responsibility.
