Operation Overseer is CompuMove’s operations move management system comprised of an integrated set of tools that allow you to receive critical and timely information from within the CompuMove Systems modules. Overseer is a robust scheduling, dispatch, rating, forms generation, and storage management system designed to handle all aspects of daily moving company operations.
Your daily operations will run smoothly with the assistance of dispatch scheduling and the coordination of all aspects of your moves, storage, transfers and driver assignments.
Operations Overseer combines four important functions:
Dispatch & Scheduling for all aspects of move management
Integrated multi-function calendar & scheduling. The core of 
is the fully integrated, multi-layer and multi-function scheduling system. Scheduling combines daily calendar activities, work and resource assignments, daily, weekly, and monthly capacity views, long-haul trip planning, salesperson calendar management, and text, email, and Google calendar notifications.
Daily Dispatch. daily dispatch scheduling manages work events and allocation of workers & resources on a job-by-job basis. Custom worker classifications and capacity views allow maximum visibility of job assignments. Customizable work events types and resource classifications provide detailed timeline views of job, trucks & men in-use and available. Office moving management, storage in-and-out activities, long-haul trip planning, and tonnage views for international moving handle the needs of complex relocation companies. Operations Overseer’s daily dispatch scheduling manages work events and allocation of workers & resources on a job-by-job basis. Custom worker classifications and capacity views allow maximum visibility of job assignments.
Salesperson Scheduling. Daily salesperson scheduling functions allow sales managers and move coordinators to efficiently schedule estimates and surveys for COD and account moves. Full integration to CompuMove’s SalesTools Pro mobile tablet estimating uses the scheduling information to manage a salesperson’s daily workload with maximum efficiency. Missed appointments are avoided with automatic text-message confirmations and reminders for both shippers and salespeople, and automatic Google-calendar events for salespeople.
Notifications. fully integrated Notifications function automatically creates ‘push’ notifications and date-sensitive reminders for important events. Text-message and Google calendar notification management is fully customizable for frequency and content of notifications.
Trip Planning. driver trip planning functions combines calendaring, geographic return-load filtering, load capacity, and line-haul revenue prediction into an integrated tool for managing long-haul driver trip planning and compensation. Daily mileage calculators, timeline management, daily weight summaries, and time-off or rest-day control combine to fully manage complex, multi-day and multi-shipment trips.
Availability. The Scheduling system’s availability function manages vacation time, out-of-service events, and suspended workers or equipment. Dispatchers and coordinators can see hourly, daily and monthly views of assigned and available resources on a real-time basis as assignments and availability changes.
Military & GSA Moves & Storage
Government Job Types. fully supports all aspects of Military, GSA, Non-Temp Storage, DPM contracts, Storage-In-Transit, and other government-related moving. The 400NG and GSA-500A tariffs are completely integrated into the rating and billing system.
Military Order Importing. CompuMove will import and extract fully detailed shipment data from standard Easy-DPS PDF Shipment Award documents, as well as order documents from many popular carriers, including TMM, Suddath, and others.
Military Non-Temp & SIT Storage. CompuMove completely integrates management of Military NTS, including multiple contracts and billing cycles, NTS reporting, and downloaded NTS bulk payment job allocation. Military Storage-In-Transit (SIT) is also fully supported, including full SIT charge calculation, support for warehouses in multiple geographic service areas, and SIT invoicing and supporting document generation.
DPM and Specialty Government Contracts.CompuMove supports one-off pricing structures for Military DPM contracts, Hold Baggage contracts, State Department relocations, and many other government-related pricing structures, including hybrid tariff-and-compensation-schedule rating structures.
International Moving & Manifesting
International Origin & Destination Services. supports all aspects of international moving, including liftvan management and containerized manifesting and consolidation, and divided and subsidiary revenue distribution and invoicing.
Liftvans. CompuMove tracks the use of individual liftvans, and manages carrier-based liftvan counts, size, condition, use and density. CompuMove’s billing structure allows for new or refurbished liftvan charges, and all related fee calculation.
Manifests. Operations Overseer’s fully integrated manifesting function allows the creation and management of shipping container manifests for single-shipment and consolidated-shipment containers. Integrated COD-balance management, vessel name and sailing date, front-to-back load diagrams, and operations and financial management manifest views assure complete control of all aspects of containerized international shipments.
International Tariff Rating and Compensation Schedules. CompuMove’s unique and detailed rating and compensation system fully manages charge calculation and billing for international shipments, including combining military tariff charge calculation with carrier-based compensation schedules. Origin and destination services, and inter-island or Alaska outback delivery calculations are fully supported to assure smooth transition from work performed to invoices generated.
Storage Management
Warehouse Locations– CompuMove’s includes full management of household goods storage locations, including stacked vaults, overstuffed racks, and rug and bulky item storage. Warehouse utilization and capacity is tracked in real-time, and support for multiple warehouses and warehouse zones means you’ll never outgrow system capacity. Detailed birds-eye views show aisles and other warehouse features, so a tablet-equipped warehouseman can pull real-time pick lists and update shipment locations on the fly.
Storage Billing– CompuMove’s storage management function supports a variety of storage billing options, including weight- and unit-based charges, and monthly or quarterly billing cycles on first-of-month or anniversary-date cycles. Storage invoices can be chosen for paper-based printing and mailing, or sent as PDFs via email, depending on the preferences of the individual shipper. Recurring credit-card processing allows for bulk processing and emailing of storage charges and statements, and detailed shipment billing and location histories assure everything is documented and accounted for.
