About CompuMove Systems
The History of CompuMove Systems
The idea for CompuMove began in 1982 when Mark Millian, working with a veteran mover, first identified the need for sophisticated information management in the moving and storage industry. The earliest work was done within a moving company in Redlands, California, and in 1984 CompuMove Systems was founded in Carlsbad with a single purpose: to create the best possible computer software systems for the moving & storage industry.
Now, more than three decades later, CompuMove Systems Corporation continues to develop and enhance information management systems exclusively for moving and storage companies. This moving-only focus, combined with many years of hands-on experience serving the industry, has resulted in clearly superior products and services.
CompuMove recognizes that the importance of information management can only increase as the industry’s competitiveness and demand for efficiency increases. As the new century unfolds, CompuMove Systems Corporation will continue this leadership, providing leading edge information management systems exclusively for the moving and storage industry.
About The Founder
Mark Millian wrote his first computer program at age 16 and has been programming ever since. He holds a B.A. in Economics, and has been actively involved in the moving and storage industry since 1982. Mr. Millian is the chief designer of the CompuMove system, and his combination of computer and accounting skills, and his long experience with our complex industry, make him uniquely qualified to fill this role.
